As we have an American teaching assistant this year, Dana, and she wanted to show us what Americans do on St. Valentine's Day, we decided to do something special and combine British and American traditions.



On 17th February the students at Year 2 of Secondary Bilingual Studies at Adormideras School had a St. Valentine tea party in class. We learned how to make a real English tea. We also learned what a kettle was and how to warm the teapot. We drank it with just a cloud of cold milk, which is quite unusual in Spain. It was delicious! But that wasn't all! Three students, Angela, Josefina and Rebeka, made a really nice chocolate cake with a heart on top. Other students also brought chocolates, "napolitanas" and "larpeirada". We had a very good time! We have to do it again!
